Stretch slightly with use but true to size (M)
Es mi segundo par
I've already burned through a pair of Ocun and OR crack gloves. I wanted something as thin and flexible as the OR ones but more durable. These seem to fit the bill. Time will tell on durability, but a lot of the fail points of the other designs don't seem to be present here. I was a little worried about them feeling "hot" because your whole hand is covered but I have not found that to be the case!
Best technical crack climbing gloves. Their thinness allows for great feeling of the rock. They also cover the thumb for more grip and protection. I wish the velcro would be more durable, it is generally the first part that wear out. I wear XS/S mens BD gloves but I wear Medium in these
As said in the title. These are nice and light/as form fitting as such things can be. Great crack gloves.
Better than old rubber type crack gloves, since they fit more cracks (though I will miss the padding of the old rubber type crack gloves)
Love it so much
These gloves are boss level!
Love em so far! Utilized them in the gym and outside. Fit is snug and just right on the hand for me. I fit a medium in other black diamond gloves, and sizing was consistent for me with the crack gloves as well.
Only used these once on Donner Summit multipitch climb, so durability/wear can't be assessed. Also, I am a novice climber - don't claim to have any advanced technique or expertise in crack climbing. But - these definitely made the application much easier and more comfortable. Fit well, worked well, and didn't interfere with climbing in any way. Overall I'd say they were an excellent buy.
I had an old set of these crack gloves that wore out. I rely like that these new gloves have more coverage on the thumb. I am not sure if my old set was just stretched out but the new pair fit much better, It is almost as snug as a tape on my hands.
These are by far the best crack gloves I have tried. Durability exceeds my expectation give how thin they are, though if you climb a lot they will need replacing yearly.
Goof fitting. Perfect for the climb. They don't move.
My favorite crack gloves. Add a lot of protection while minimal added volume. Very durable. Way better than OR and Metolius crack gloves.
I wear size XS, they fit my hand like a glove and gives me some extra protection so I'm not bruising my hands against the rock.
Light weight - allows climber to feel the rock. Durable. Protects my 74 year old skin!!
They do the job. Nice for a guy with older skin and on blood thinners to keep the back of the hands from getting totally chewed up when climbing crack.
One of the best crack gloves on the market have been a game changer for me
It's super easy to use, the size is perfect to every type of crack. for sure the BD crack glove is my favorite one.
The perfect balance of thickness, grip, and protection.
Great glove with good coverage. Not bulky, pretty low profile once you’re in the crack. Been helping my crack habit as I focus my recovery from crimping.
Feels like you are wearing nothing but when it comes time to really crank on a jam, your skin is protected. What else do you want?
great fit and confort
Favorite Crack gloves on the market!
Super happy about the BD crack gloves! The fit super well, are slender and easy to use when gripping hand holds. Love the thumb protector.
Comfortable, thin, and protects your hands!
Time will tell how they hold up, but see a lot of people using them out there so thought i would give them a try. Well made.
First pair of these and love them, especially for thinner hand cracks. Had the Ocun’s before which I still use occasionally on wider hands as the rubber is thicker than these.
The thumbs are done right on this glove. Easily repairable, long lasting and they fit well. My wife and I both prefer these over other options.
They offer thumb and wrist coverage where other brands don’t. Fit is true to size. Solid gloves for crack climbing.
Bd always delivers
Love these. Ocuns are basically shoes for your feet, which are dope but I personally like something thin, protective and be able to feel the rock. This is a step up from tape. They feel great, thin, but protective and incredibly durable. After while, I forgot I’m even wearing them. So cozy. White is certainly an interesting choice given how dirty and grimey from sweat they get, but they’re chill. The sizing guide on the site is not helpful, sadly. I like the crag gloves from BD, these not only run small but the fit is so different. I have great palm and knuckle coverage based off the measurements, but my fingers are a little tight and i can just barely velcro on my wrist. I got a Small, and the crag gloves in a Small are fit perfect. These are way too tight. I asked my friends what size they had (and we all have about the same size hand and i’ve worn their gloves before) and theyre wearing Larges! So, definitely try these on in store and find a good fit, because the size guide for buying blind isn’t entirely accurate for how you want they to actually feel. other than than, bomber. love them
Super comfy
Ran a little tight on my fingers so had to size up but the RMA was easy!
This is soooo much better than taping and while they seem to run a bit small (I typically wear a medium glove in everything and these in medium are very snug), they have held up extremely well. I'm well over 50 pitches of use and they are dirty but not torn.
The crack gloves are an outstanding tool to have in your crag kit. Easy to put on and take off, they add the right amount of protection where you need it for tackling cracks.
These are thin gloves that also have the most coverage that are perfect for long routes.
I procrastinated until the last couple days before an all day trad climb and ordered them next day. I’m glad I did . Thankfully they fit perfect and wore them all day comfortably. The grip they gave me was fantastic for those jams.
If you're a wimp like me and want to protect the back of your hands from sharp cracks, these gloves are perfect. I love how thin they are and allow you to still feel the rock on your hands. You can still climb anything besides cracks just fine while wearing these gloves. The only negative I can think of is that the velcro tends to become weak over time causing the gloves to slip off while climbing. This can be remedied by a strip of tape around your wrist to keep them on. I've done hundreds if not thousands of climbs with these gloves and they are still holding together.
These are great and feel premium. I still need to tape up some areas that are exposed but overall this probably saves me a full roll of tape for every 3 climbs.
